Possible Solutions

  • same kind of problem I faced last time too,  Need to add the user in AD
  • Checking all services running fine ? (Checked it Everything Running fine)
  • Checking if IIS is running ?(IIS is running )

Or Putting that problem on CRM Forum

Hey guys
I have installed MS SQL 2008 and CRM 2013 on a server but I am getting this error when I try to access the CRM
“Server Error
404 – File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”
I’ve checked SQL Services running and IIS is running. Did little bit google on it, but couldn’t find any solution.
Help!

Rojan V Thomas From the screenshot provided it’s visible that you are using port number 80 for the application. Always give a unused port (by default it’s 5555 which gets opened and installed along with CRM (if you chose the option during installation). try changing it and see

Rojan V Thomas that is okay..

Rana Muhammad Waqas While repairing it doesnt ask for the port, I guess there’ll some option in IIS for that

Rojan V Thomas problem here is it can’t be accessed properly via a browser which is nothing but the IIS setup issue.. it could be service account issue or the port issue
20 hrs · Like

Rojan V Thomas change the port from iis and then goto MS Dynamics CRM Deployment Manager properties and change the port

Peeyush Jain @Rana have u installed crm and SQL server in two different machine or in the same machine…if two different machine so make sure all the default port 8080 ,555 or any SPL port which you have given during installation should be accessible..
.check your inbound outbound firewall rule
